Employment status

Our financial security advisors are accredited and licensed for advice and sales of life and health insurance products. They are all registered with the Autorité des marchés financiers du Québec.

Our advisors are employees of Lead2Action and are authorized to sell the products of the following insurance companies: Humania Assurance; Industrial Alliance; Canada Life; BMO Insurance; iA Excellence; Empire Life; Assumption Life; The Edge Benefits; Canada Protection Plan; SSQ; Manulife; RBC Insurance; Sun Life. If the products offered by these insurance companies do not meet your needs, they will refer you to another financial security advisor authorized to sell other products.

Compensation

Our advisors receive a salary from Lead2Action. In addition, if you choose to purchase a product through them, they may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of a commission.

Conflict of interest

At Lead2action, our financial security advisors take conflict of interest issues seriously. When analyzing your needs and making their recommendations, they will suggest the best solution to your need and alert you to the existence of any possible conflict of interest they are aware of.

Occupational Class

Professional or management

  • Professionals and business executives (white collar workers) who perform only office work or have only administrative or clerical functions;
  • Certain business executives / white collar workers with limited sales duties who perform neither deliveries nor demonstrations.

Office employee

  • Most white collar workers – office employees, managers, supervisors and inspectors who do not participate in supervised work;
  • Representatives who do not perform deliveries;
  • No manual labour.

Sales clerk

  • Professional workers who perform the functions or work of a skilled worker;
  • Clerks and other workers with duties limited to sales, supervision and supply of services;
  • Qualified professional workers who do not meet the criteria for class 3A.

Labourer or manual worker

  • Labourers and manual workers with more physically demanding duties and favourable working conditions;
  • The work must not involve any hazards such as chemicals, explosives, machinery or heavy equipment.

Manual worker with greater physical exertion requirements or risk of accident

  • Labourers and manual workers who must exert significant physical effort;
  • Working conditions that may result in increased risk of sickness or accident
    • Extreme heat, frequent changes in temperature;
  • Use of heavy machinery or heavy equipment;
  • The work must not involve any hazards such as chemicals, explosives, machinery and heavy equipment.
